Books, books, books

So I have joined two books clubs due to my new mommy schedule which includes lots of time at home while the 'shrimp' (as Danny calls her) is napping. It's also a way for me to have some good adult interaction, meet new people, and let Danny take care of Shayne for a few hours. Here are the two lists of books for the year:

The other day I was just thinking of some of my favorite books. I love the book Snow Falling on Cedars. If you haven't read it, pick it up sometime. I love, love, love to read- and have ever since I was a kid. My mom says she could always find me in my room with a book (of course then I used to read horrible teenage romance or pioneer/christian romance stories- I know. . . .) I do have a goal of reading more non-fiction and political/ current event literature this year. Let's see if I get to it with all my book club reading to do!

Pink, Blue, and Bling

So spring is coming! Finally! The sun is out and it's getting warm, although I'm sure there are still some snow showers coming. For Danny spring means that we are one season closer to football season starting again. So in honor we took some pictures of our little BYU cougar.
